Tamil Nadu’s ruling party members were found indulging in eating and drinking after a break from their 1-day long hunger strike in connection with the formation of the Cauvery Management Board by the Centre.
Presently, the Delhi BJP leader Harish Khurana alleged that the Congress leaders were eating vigorously before their day-long fast in support of communal harmony and against the atrocities on Dalits.
वहाँ रे हमारे कांग्रिस के नेता,लोगों को राज घाट पर अनशन के लिए बुलाया है और ख़ुद एक रेस्तराँ में बैठ कर छोले भटूरे के मज़े ले रहे हो ।

In both the cases, the videos have revealed their double standards.
The AIADMK members were feasting on biryani and alcohol during the lunch break at the end of the hunger strike, while the Congress leaders were eating chhole bhature in a restaurant.
The hunger strike was organised by K Palaniswami, Tamil Nadu’s chief minister, from 8 in the morning to 5 in the evening on April 3, 2018. The Congress party president Rahul Gandhi was also there.
Does this make the party cadres feel disgraced? Such exposures show much about our politicians’ real attitudes. What they pretend to be in front of the people greatly differs from what they actually think.
