It is without doubt that the Congress party brought Priyanka Gandhi into active politics to add some power to its losing charm. Although Priyanka Gandhi has been lending her political support to the party through the years, her full-fledged participation is being perceived as a timely stroke to their political opponents. If Rahul Gandhi can steer the party on the glorious path by helping the party win in three states, Priyanka Gandhi can do more with her image of being similar to her grandmother and former prime minister of India Late Indira Gandhi. In this context, it is believed that most people may hopelessly fall for her charisma.
In the process, it seems like the Congress has ignored the fact that the more they try to control their bias for other parties, the less in control they appear to be. Priyanka Gandhis’ entry into politics as the General Secretary of the Congress party seems to be fairly irksome for the BJP considering her political appeal and striking leadership qualities. She has entered into party politics like Razia Sultan of medieval India. The BJP’s restlessness looks like Sultan Allauddin Khilji’s nervousness in the film Padmavaat.
The tactical move by Rahul Gandhi implies that he has no better choice than this decision in the matter of throwing a stronger challenge to his political adversaries. The Congress has challenged Modi and Yogi in their respective constituencies by bringing Priyanka Gandhi, a lookalike of Indira Gandhi, into the political realm.
Despite knowing the fact that the Congress cannot remain united without a leader within the Nehru-Gandhi scion, the opposite parties’ unnecessarily harp on this redundant point of dynasty politics. Even the BJP is not devoid of family culture and it only shows its hollowness by harping on the wrong tune. How could it feel any satisfaction at this?
On television debates, Congress spokespersons like Charan Singh Sapra and Priyanka Chaturvedi were emphatically reminding the BJP of its political leaders who had a direct family lineage. However, the Bhartiya Janata Party finds the attack suitable for its political standing.
As the BJP’s tempo was at its zenith owing to its sweeping victory in Assam’s tribal Council poll, its political firmament was goading its leaders to jeer at the oldest party in the way they best like to mock. There is no political party running without the blemish of familial linkage.
Teaching a politician how to blame another politician can never be challenging. It is always true that all politicians have a similar frame of mind, and common people do not exactly encourage what they portray on the political surface.
