“It’s hate that overcomes every other emotion and reason.”
This fact re-established itself in the form of recent election results— turning deaf and blind to the probability and possibility of EVM or EC management and the magnitude of its impact. Leaders such as Jignesh Mewani, Kanahiya Kumar, Arvind Kejriwal etc.— the Neo-politicians, and veterans such as Mayawati, Mamta Banerjee and Mulayam Singh should take note of the topic of this write-up.
Any revolution in the history of mankind, irrespective of its positive or negative impact on humanity, has succeeded in achieving popularity on the grounds of hate.
Since democracies are all about numbers and popularity, only those leaders, group or party are able to come to power and secure control who harvest, reap, exaggerate and manipulate the hatred among the masses.
And if the hatred connects with factors of very high sensitivity like religion, nationalism, and enmity towards neighbouring countries, the miracle of such exemplary majority, as seen in the recent election, happens. So what if the leadership didn’t do anything for the masses? Rather it might have caused harm, as a result of whimsical socio-economic policies and decisions.
Therefore, at this juncture of time, a system of hate against irrationality, religious extremism, illiteracy, poverty, crime, and all such negative factors should be devised and practiced by all secular political forces jointly. Rest assured, in the course of the next five years, the party in power will provide ample opportunities for such grounds of hatred to be created.
